HWC started as an internet service provider serving northern Indiana in 2014. The company quickly grew to offer voice over IP services (VoIP) and technology consulting to its business portfolio. In 2019, HWC sold the internet side of its business to focus more on voice communications while also expanding its IT consulting business. That decision has fueled the continued growth of the company. In 2022, HWC acquired Apheus Solutions, LLC, further expanding its portfolio of services. The company has continued its growth in the VoIP market and now includes several large industrial and government clients.
